Guide
This build is used mainly to deal damage and get KO's. If you end up with few points, that's probably why.
-Head to the top lane and start with Water Gun to hit multiple wild Pokémon at once to gain maximum EXP as fast as you can. This also works with Skull Bash, but Water Gun works better.
-You should be at level 3 by the time you get to your last goal zone, so use Skull Bash to launch yourself at the Corphish between the two teams to steal it from the opponent. This also works with the opponent's Aipom.
-Use Water Spout to deal constant damage, then immediately use Rapid Spin. This resets your Water Spout cooldown, allowing you to spam Water Spout and basic attack and deal huge damage with Rapid Spin. This ends up dealing as much damage as a Unite Move over an extended period of time, but without the HP boost. And that's where the items come in.
-The Focus Band regenerates HP when at low health. While this doesn't keep you from fainting entirely, it can certainly get you out of a battle that you normally would've lost. This is especially helpful when you just committed to dealing damage with Rapid Spin and Water Spout, the time in which you can take a lot of damage, and sometimes even faint far earlier than you would like.
-Energy Amplifier simply adds to the damage you can deal after you've used your Unite Move. This is especially helpful in large teamfights when you need that extra damage.
-I always feel that either the Score Shield or Buddy Barrier (or both in some cases) should be in every build. In this case, Buddy Barrier is the way to go. This Blastoise build is focused on attack power and getting KO's, not on scoring. After using a Unite Move, the Buddy Barrier shields you and a nearby ally, allowing your team to stay in battle longer. This is especially helpful at Zapdos where both teams are trying to steal that KO.
