Guide
This is an old build. It may still work, but I have an updated version that works better. Check out my account page to see it.
This build is mainly used as a team assist. If you end up with few KO's and points, that's because this build is not for that. (Although I have 1v1'd a Greninja with this build and won)
-Head to the top lane and start with Water Gun to hit multiple wild Pokémon at once to gain maximum EXP as fast as you can. This also works with Skull Bash, but Water Gun works better.
-You should be at level 3 by the time you get to your last goal zone, so use Skull Bash to launch yourself at the Corphish between the two teams to steal it from the opponent. This also works with the opponent's Aipom.
-Use Surf and Hydro Pump to push opponents out of their own goal zones to let Rotom in so your teammates can score. It's not great for earning MVP, but it helps the team more than you think.
-This Blastoise build is a beast on defense. Surf can push the opponent back, stopping multiple goals at once and holding them off until backup arrives. This is also great for defending defenseless goal zones.
-Use Hydro Typhoon while battling Zapdos to weaken opponents and allow your team to KO Zapdos first.
-Focus Band can give you a little bit of extra HP so you can either escape using the Eject Button or fight it out a little longer to help your team.
-Energy Amplifier is great for team fights, especially at Zapdos. You can get a little extra damage off after hitting nearly everyone on the opposing team with Hydro Typhoon.
-Buddy Barrier is especially helpful in large team fights such as Zapdos. Paired with Energy Amplifier, it's an amazing combo.
