Items:
Yes, this is a stack-heavy build. You want as much health and damage as possible, and stacking is the best way to achieve that. Drain Crown actually works surprisingly well on Trevenant, bolstering it’s already high survavability. Eject is just what I run on it, because I just like the extra emergency escape or chasing option. Feel free to experiment based on whatever you feel is best.
Moves:
Horn Leech is good for being annoying (because you’re Trevenant, it’s your job) as well as getting some extra health. The main attraction here, however, is Wood Hammer. It now hits harder and has less self-harm. With a few stacks of Attack Weight, Trevenant can do good damage for a “defender.”
Strategy:
Trevenant is not going to single-handedly win team fights like Cinder or T-Tar can. It can be an annoying little piece of lumber for your enemies though. The push on Horn Leech and bursts of Wood Hammer damage are good enough combined with your crazy bulk to wear down opponents so your team can come in and feast on some free lunch.
Works Well With
Combining a bulky Pokémon with a healer that’s on it at all times is a recipe for victory… or sponge cake. I might be reading this wrong.
Combining damage and defense is the most classic combination in gaming history. Now the defense has damage.
This build was created in the game version of 1.8.1.5. It may contain inaccuracies in the data that is used compared to the current version of 1.12.1.5.
