Are there towers in Pokemon Unite like other MOBA games?

Kind of. Towers have been replaced with scoring zones. In other games, towers are objectives you have to destroy by becoming strong enough to beat them. In Pokemon Unite, scoring zones serve a similar purpose but they do not attack you. If enough points are scored, a scoring zone will be destroyed.

You can score in an enemy scoring zone (hence the name), but you'll have to fight off the other team so you have enough time to dunk all the points you've collected. Scoring zones also grant shields to their allies.

Scoring zones also act as a fast travel destination from your base after you're KO'd.

The road between two score zones acts as a speed lane that both increases allied movement speed, and slows down opponents.
