Guide
Snorlax is one of the best Pokémon for all levels of play that people often mistake as a low-threat Pokémon. With Flail, Snorlax can hold its own on 1v1 or even 1v2, especially against non-stacking Pokémon such as Absol. Snorlax's only weakness is its' lack of escape mechanism, which ended up forcing its players to adopt an "All-or-Nothing" playstyle.
Ability: Gluttony - Increases movement speed when there's a berry around Snorlax. Increases berries' effect.
> Use this to bring the fight to the enemy's goal in early game while using their Sitrus berries as your safety "tether".
Move 1: Flail - Increases movement speed, basic attack damage, and slows enemies hit by the said basic attack.
> Deals incredible damage when your health is low.
>> Watch out for kiting maneuvers by attackers.
>>> Always use this move whenever it is available in combat.
Move 2: Yawn - Yawns, makes enemies hit by this cloud of yawn asleep.
> Incredible crowd control for setup with other Pokémon.
>> With practice, you can make agile enemies such as speedsters and even some agile attackers asleep with this move.
UM: Power Nap - Becomes immobile, immune to hindrances, blocks enemies movement, knocks enemies up on the first hit, heal in the remaining duration, and deals continuous damage to enemies around Snorlax. Can be reactivated to move Snorlax a little bit to the side.
> Use this to escape from KO'd (15%-35% MHP), or use it to gain increased basic attack damage and basic attack speed.
>> You can cancel this Unite Move by using Move 1 (in this case, Flail), making it easier for you to enter combat.
Battle Item: Potion - Use this when your health is <30% or lower.
Held Item 1: Muscle Band - Increases Snorlax's basic attack damage (with enemies MHP as a factor) and basic attack speed.
Held Item 2: Focus Band - Increases defense, and gradually recovers health when your HP is low (approx. 25%).
Held Item 3: Weakness Policy - Increases attack and max health, also increases attack by amount of damage instances Snorlax receives. Making Flail even more deadly the longer you are in combat.
Combo 1: Flail - AA - Yawn - Reposition - AA - Flail - AA
> Remember, Flail grants movement speed. You can either keep attacking your target or use that movement speed to reposition yourself before continuing your assault.
Combo 2: Flail - Yawn - Unite Move - Flail - AA - ...
> As mentioned, use Flail to reposition yourself, then Yawn at the target. Then, use your Unite Move. This ensures your target get thrown by your Unite Move. Cancel Unite Move with Flail and lay waste to the opposing team.
-------------
Emblems: Use anything that reduces SpA and boost your other parameters. For colors, I prefer to have 6 Brown emblems and 4 White emblems, since those also increases Atk by 4% and HP by 2%, respectively.
Curr. Emblem Configuration: Sandslash, Golem, Machamp, Dugtrio, Diglett, Sandshrew, Dodrio, Doduo, Farfetch'd, Rattata.
Works Well With
Most Pokémon are compatible with Snorlax, but Espeon can highly use Snorlax's crowd control to deal massive damage via Psyshock. In any case, almost all attackers can follow up to Snorlax's maneuvers.
