Guide
Early game:
Charged-up water gun is great for stealing wild pokemon elims. Slowpoke evolves at an incredibly low level, so this'll geet you surf quickly. Try and take out as many of the opposing team as possible and score often. Like my gardevoir build, it's good to score in little chip to benefit from the aeos cookie as well as possible, but it's not critical. Slowbro is... slow, so try and stay near goals to score quickly.
Mid game:
Slowbro's a tank, so battling low-level opponents is fine. Surf can be used to get away as well if on low health. I would also recommend the X Speed as a battle item to get away if you want. The main strat against evolved opponents is to telekinesis and allow teammates to score. Telekinesis is also good to pull away opponents from a group and then proceed to surf them away, putting distance between enemies to further preserve your already insane health (Slowbro's ability helps too).
Late game:
By now, you should have godly tank capabilities, so just score and score and score. Stick with supporters or speedsters to help, and you will never die. Be as aggro as possible. Using this strat, I didn't die and was mvp with 200+ points for 5 straight games. Trust me, this build is one of the best out there.

Support is great to have for battling high-level pokemon and prevent death. Blissey and Wigglytuff are also good supporter choices.
