Guide
Pregame: stacking all Sp. Atk items allows for Wise Glasses' % increase to really shine. Instead of relying on defensive items for sustain, you will have stronger healing potential to compensate. By keeping yourself at maximum range when attacking, or keeping near teammates that can distract the enemy, excellent positioning would make it so that you won't take as much unnecessary damage to heal through. For all other cases, we use Eject Button to get back to said excellent positioning. Preventing damage through positioning is much stronger than reacting to and recovering from damage with Potion.
Why no Exp. Share? You may run into the occasional teammate who is new or otherwise struggling and is consistently the lowest level, rendering the passive EXP gain from this item ineffective. This guide sets you up in that you will help carry the team through your strong healing and damage.
Level 1: take Leafage to assist with farming wild Pokémon in lane. You'll quickly reach Level 3 and obtain Synthesis soon after.
Early game: as you're collecting Aeos energy, try dunking them in small quantities multiple times if your opposing enemy's goal is wide open. Special Attack Specs increases in value per goal to a maximum of six times*, so it would be good to get maximum value out of your items quickly.

Level 4: As you evolve, take Pollen Puff. Pollen Puff offers a lot through consistent AoE damage and healing on a relatively low CD, assuming you're landing them where it would affect the most targets or important targets (e.g. a low HP ally or enemy).
Level 6: Take Cotton Spore. While Cotton Guard would lend itself to a more full support build with additional sustain through shields, healing, and even movement speed at Level 11, Cotton Spore would allow you to have an additional source of damage alongside Pollen Puff so that in cases you're fighting solo, you aren't solely relying on Pollen Puff and the occasional basic attack for damage. Your Sp. Atk items would strengthen two skills' worth of damage rather than one, and while there is a such thing as too much healing (overhealing beyond yours and your team's maximum HP), you can never have too much damage. Overkill is much more satisfying than overhealing, and if your enemies are gone, you won't need to heal as much!
Late game: after you have your Unite skill, try to go where the action is. All your skills are AoE, so they would be most effective when more targets are being healed or damaged at once.
Every game is different, so try your best to make effective decisions in the moment. Can you get away with a quick goal here? Or should you assist your team over there first? Micro executions are a skill that takes practice with more games under your belt. But hopefully, this guide's strategy can help you along your way to being the very best Eldegoss that no one ever was!
(Consider swapping Wise Glasses for Aeos Cookie for more sustain.)
