Guide
A. Ninetails has a surprisingly good mage build, especially considering her full combo stuns for a while. The possible aoe stun and damage through her passive can get kind of nutty if you play it right.
The idea of this build is to catch out and heavily punish players for being out of position and to find a heavy xp advantage in fights towards the mid game. Ninetails can't do much of that alone, but has enough burst and cc to perform well in team fights. Mid game team fights turn into a coordinated dive onto a burstable target. By late game, you should just be ahead enough to win most team fights.
The main combo of the build is avalanche into blizzard, which many of you are probably familiar with. Put the wall behind the target mon, blizzard it towards the wall, blah blah insta-freeze target, blah blah blah.
Something that A. Ninetails absolutely needs, no matter the build, is heavy support in lane. Ninetails has no escape or defensive option other than e button, and the build gets even greedier because the only somewhat defensive item is shell bell. Therefore, you should never be in a situation where you have to solo a lane. Once you use your combo and stun, you are completely vulnerable for the next 10 or so seconds until you get your cds back.
This build is difficult to play against high mobility hyper-carries, because getting them to stay still for one moment is almost impossible. I recommend waiting for them to burn their cooldowns on trying to dive you or your team before attempting a counter engage. Just pray that the dive doesn't kill first.
This build is my go-to climb build, just because it's fun and easy to play. It probably isn't the best, mostly because of the large dependency for peel and follow up, but if your lane understands what you're trying to do, games can be incredibly one-sided.
