With this build I went with hydro pump because it's knockback is super useful and it can be used as an offensive or defensive tool. It can knock people away from scoring, stop them from killing yourself or a teammate, or it can even stop rotom pushes.
Next I went with surf because it has insane range. It is a really quick and easy way to get out of a fight when your on low HP. It can drag opponents with it so that they can't escape to one of their goals. If your opponent is about to score and you're fairly far away, you can use surf to quickly to opponents and prevent them from doing so. It can also be a very useful zapdos steal.
Finally, with my items choices I went with focus band to add even more bulk to this build. Score shield is there because it is super good on everything. Buddy barrier is really good too so you can have a bit of extra support. Eject button can allow you to be an even more rushdown kill securer as well, it can also get you out of tough situations.

This build was created in the game version of 1.1.1.7. It may contain inaccuracies in the data that is used compared to the current version of 1.12.1.5.
