Guide
You're extremely weak as Charmander so focus solely on farming until reaching lv5 unless enemies like to overexend or you have a partner like Lucario who can pressure instantly or Eldegoss/Tank who can escort you.
Upon reaching lv.5 you get a better offensive tool in Fire Punch, position yourself between your opponent and their goal during fights and push them away with it, that way they'll end up farther away from it in case they need healing and lets you continue the pressure.
At lv7 you're ready to support in more heavy fights with Fire Blast and it's good AoE with Slow. Use it in order to close the gap with opponents running away and finish them off with your auto attacks and Fire Punch. Fire Blast is great for objectives like Dred and Rotom so even if you're alone you can make good work of them if your team is distracting the enemy team. Also use Fire Blast to deny parts of the map from the enemy you're facing, making them take a detour leading to more auto attack damage or they'll go through it and get hit from the AoE.
Charizard gets going at lv9 with his unite move. Always keep it before team fights start so you can use it and safely defeat the enemy team's carry damage dealer thanks to Buddy Barrier's shield as you heavely damage the other Pkmn with the boosted auto attacks (Keep in mind you still receive damage during your unite move, so if they take away your BB shield and you're low consider retreating)
In short: Don't engage directly in battles until lv5
Use Fire Punch's shove upon hit to move your enemies
away from their goals
Fire Blast is great for closing the gap on opponents,
damage with its AoE and deny paths for the enemy team.
Always keep your unite move for team fights and take out
the enemy team's carry before everyone else
Works Well With
Lucario gets going instantly, allowing Charmander to safely pressure the opponents with his big damage and safe options.
